Nearly every film, now in the headset browser
Explore POV's WebXR player already ran on Meta Quest, Samsung Galaxy XR, PICO and desktop. What changed in August 2026 is the catalogue behind it: web encoding is finished, so 187 of our 188 experiences now play straight from the headset browser rather than the slice that did at launch. There is no Explore POV app to install and no store review to wait on: open explorepov.com, pick a film, and you are standing in it.
The films are shot by hand in VR180 across 23 countries, up to 16K on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive. The web player carries the same films as the native visionOS app, streamed up to 8K, in the browser most headsets already ship with. PICO is the exception: its built-in browser handles WebXR poorly, so we point PICO owners at Wolvic, a one-time install from the PICO store.
